iPresent version 1.8.0 now available

iPresent version 1.8.0 is now available for download in the Apple App Store.

This new version contains some fantastic enhancements to iPresent:

• Fast downloading. We’ve completely rewritten the download code to support much faster downloading of Content Sets. If it’s not 2x to 5x faster we want to know!
• Hide/Show individual slides. You can now tap and hold on a thumbnail to hide or show a slide or PDF page. Hidden slides & pages will not show when you swipe through in order, but you can still tap on the thumbnail to view it.
• Hide/Show all slides. You can also tap and long-hold to hide all or show all slides & pages.
• Added new “Don’t sleep when downloading” option in settings. Now you can ensure the iPad screen stays on when downloading large Content Sets.
• iPresent now prevents the iPad screen from turning off when in Kiosk Mode.
• Kiosk Mode screensaver – you can now specify a video to automatically play after x seconds of inactivity. When the display is tapped, it returns automatically to the main menu.
• We now show a message to iPad users if their app is out of date.
• New buttons to adjust the size of Presentation notes.
• Fixed an issue for iOS 5 devices where video could appeared rotated on an external screen.
